On the 14-15th of December 2015 a seminar on the State policy directed at population ageing took place in Minsk with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Belarus.
The seminar brought together experts from UNFPA, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Department of social protection of population of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Demography statistics agency, Agency of social development economy of the the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, Demographic policy, employment and labour market department of the State Scientific Institution ‘Economic and Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus’, Department of Economic Geography of Foreign Countries of Belarusian State University, Belarusian Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education department of gerontology and geriatrics, Department of economics and administration of the Republican Institute for Vocational Education, he Republican Clinical Hospital of Great Patriotic War Veterans named PM Masherova, the Golden Age University Programme, Private Institution for Additional Adult Education “Practical Competences Studio” etc.
