On 15 May 2013 UN Population Fund and MTS mobile operator opened a photography exhibition “Ties between Generations” at the Central Gorky Park. The exhibits will be displayed 15 - 19 May.

The exhibition aims to strengthen and promote family values, and contribute to the public’s appreciation of the importance of family in everyone’s life.

The name of the exhibition fully reflects its essence: intergenerational ties give an opportunity for the children to take the best from their mothers and father;and for older people this is a guarantee and confidence that they will not be left alone in times to come. We as a socially oriented mobile operator strengthen the ties between generations both through dedicated projects and through our principal activity – enabling different generations to stay in touch all the time and enjoy warm and sincere communication”, said Tatyana KurbatPR group Manager,MTS.

Apart from the professional photography exhibition a photo drying rack is arranged next to the entrance to the Central Gorky Park, featuring amateur photos made by the participants of the photo contest of the same name. The winner will be announced at 15.00 on 19 May. The candidates are already being chosen by the users of the official MTS Facebook group.

If you did not make the photo contest or just want to share your photo story, add your photo to the photo drying rack. You can write your contact details or a wish on the back side of the photo.

As part of celebrating the International Day of Families on 18 and 19 May 2013 from 13.00 to 15.00 family contests will be arranged at the central stage of the Gorky Park. All participants will get recognition gifts, and the winner will get a season ticket for the park’s rides. There will also be a photo zone where every family will be able to have their picture taken and get a photo as a souvenir.
