Today Ms. Nuzhat Ehsan, the new UNFPA Country Director for Belarus, who is at the same time the UNFPA Representative for Ukraine, arrived in Minsk with her first working visit. 

 

During the visit Ms. Ehsan will participate in the republican conference “A young family - yesterday, today, tomorrow”, visit Brest Oblast to familiarize with the progress of projects on counteracting domestic violence and ensuring gender equality coordinated by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Belarus, and meet the representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the National Statistical Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
