The Sixth Open Student Forum PR-Kvetka-2013 was held March 27-29. Over 500 students and PR practitioners from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Lithuania participated in or attended as guests the event organized by the fourth-year students of the Communications Technology Department of the Institute of Journalism.
The PR Forum aims to create and develop the student PR community. The event is also a unique site for networking, exchange of experience between the public relations students, teachers of social communication, public relations, marketing, advertising, and public relations practitioners.
The UN Population Fund offered two cases for the participants to solve: “Changing public attitude toward old age” and “Presentation of the 2013 population report”.
The most interesting solution to the first case was proposed by Kseniya Krylova, a third-year student of the Institute of Journalism of the Belarusian State University, while the most creative solution to the second case was proposed by Igor Nikolaenko and Ekaterina Pashkova.
The winners of the competition obtained valuable prizes and an opportunity to take an internship with the UN Population Fund.
