UNFPA country office in Belarus is looking for the candidate for the position of logistics assistant for activities to be organized and conducted in the framework of the project “Support to the implementation of the national programme of demographic security of the Republic of Belarus”.

Scope of work:

·         assistance in organizing of the workshops, conferences study visits and other events in the framework of the project “Support to the implementation of the national programme of the demographic security of the Republic of Belarus”

·         assistance in market research, drafting selection papers for local shopping for project’s activities in accordance with approved schedule and budget;

·         assistance in dissemination of project’s products and reports;

·         assistance in informal translation of the documents to/from English;

·         assistance in other activities deemed as necessary within the frames of the project.

Duration and working schedule: 1 September - 31 December 2017, full time working schedule – 35 hrs working week.

Place where services are delivered: UNFPA CO, Minsk, Belarus.

Monitoring and progress control:  written report on activities conducted on a monthly basis; attendance of weekly staff meetings; ad-hoc meetings with the supervisor; participation in the meetings with different partners and reporting on the outcomes.

Supervisory arrangements: the Consultant works under the overall guidance and reports to UNFPA CO Project manager.

Required expertise, qualifications and competencies, including language requirements:

-       Completed secondary level education required. First level university degree preferred,

-       Three  years professional experience in the field of administration, project management or any other relevant field,

-       Experience working with the UN/other international organizations is an asset,

-       Proficiency in Russian and/or Belarusian,

-       Fluency in English is required.
